There are few offline venues where So Cal business owners can engage in business networking. The Online venues for business networking in So Cal aren't any better.

We ourselves - as business owners - have tried to do some business networking, business marketing, business promotion and viral marketing for our business Online. Good luck with that! First and foremost, no social network allows - leave alone encourages - business networking. We've tried MANY and have been even kicked out of some for mentioning that we're hiring.... Second, networking with someone in China, may or may not be our goal. In other words, networking which is crucial for business success requires time, money and an appropriate venue.

So that's how we've come up with the idea for So Cal Business Network. We are legitimizing business networking Online! We don't consider business networking, business marketing, business promotion or viral marketing a SPAM. Being a business owner is a reason to be proud, not branded as a spammer!  Business is not a dirty word! So Cal Business Network is the first business network (with all the bells and whistles) and the first local, business network geared specifically toward So Cal business community.

1/ The focus of So Cal Business Network is business networking, business marketing, business promotion and viral marketing in So Cal and all So Cal business owners with physical location as well as entrepreneurs, independent sales reps, job seekers, etc. are invited to participate! (We don't and won't welcome the adult industry, MLM, Online only businesses, or business schemes. Our community has strict guidelines and even if an undesirable should sneak in, he or she will be removed and permanently banned!)

2/ The reason we've decided on a local focus is to enable So Cal business owners to not only network, promote themselves, create and participate in groups, but also to be able to actually conduct business in person, right here in So Cal.
